Mindy Scarlett

Mindy Scarlett is a business owner, designer, teacher and long time volunteer with many
youth organizations. While design in its myriad forms has been a constant in her life, from
Michigan, to Australia , New Jersey, and finally to Orlando, the most important focus has
been her work with young people.
Over the past 30 years, Mindy’s volunteer work has encompassed being a Youth Pastor,
volunteering as a teacher, being a mentor with Jobs for Youth, and working with Junior
Achievement to teach middle school kids about the world of business.
In the Professional arena, Mindy has worked in the areas of Corporate Communications,
Interior Design, teaching and entrepreneurship and is currently the owner of The Scarlett
Consulting Group, a business and marketing firm in Orlando.
The DASH Program completed its first ten weeks, covering “Discover Your Passion”, :”
“Design Your Life” and “Business 101” with great attendance and wonderful
participation. The overwhelming response was “What’s next?!?!?” Other responses
“I didn’t expect to have so much fun!”
“I learned the most in the “Discover your Passion” part of the program”
In 2019 the intention is to expand the Foundation to include assisting small businesses on
Main Street, helping them ‘stay alive’ by assisting them with information and marketing

David Persaud brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to the Foundation Board. After
30 years of experience on Wall Street, David is now working one-on-one with a handful of
clients, assisting them with their investment goals.
David enjoys teaching young people about the stock market and opening their eyes to all
the opportunities that exist around the globe. His firm belief is that with the right goals and
the correct applications of basic investment principals, anyone can create true financial
